Mrs Lorna Whelan

Psychotherapist (Registered)

Accredited Counsellor offering a safe space to talk . I work from a Person Centred approach and integrate other theories and practices such as Choice and Reality therapy, Solution focused therapy CBT, I also do inner child work where suited.

About Me

I offer a truly safe space where you can speak openly, without judgment. Drawing primarily on a Person-Centred approach, I tailor our sessions to your unique needs. We can explore various paths, from practical coping strategies to deeper inner child work. This helps you find clarity and new perspectives, supporting you to navigate your challenges effectively.

Approach

Work is steady and collaborative: I listen for what matters most to you, mirror patterns that emerge, and gently introduce practical steps alongside deeper reflective work. I see people in Dublin and online in English, keeping sessions paced to suit how you process—some weeks more practical, some weeks quieter and reflective. Between sessions I might suggest small experiments, creative prompts or short reflections to build awareness, especially when navigating loss, anxiety or past hurts. This way of working tends to suit adults seeking clarity and manageable change.
