Dr Lisa Pascal

Clinical Psychologist

I'm a child psychologist who specializes in the treatment of moderate to severe mental health challenges including OCD, anxiety disorders, Body-focused repetitive behaviours, and challenging behaviours.

About Me

I help children and families navigate challenging times. When OCD, anxiety, or repetitive behaviours disrupt daily life, we work together to understand these difficulties. I provide practical strategies for managing big feelings and behaviours. My aim is to create a supportive space where children feel understood, helping them build confidence. Parents also gain tools to support their child's progress at home.

Approach

When rituals, worries, or repetitive habits begin to shape a child's day, I focus on breaking challenges into small, concrete steps so they can try new responses with steady support. In Calgary I offer in-person and secure online sessions in English, pacing work to your family's rhythm and building short, practical between-session practices. Sessions blend focused exposure, values-based coaching and parental guidance, with clear goals set collaboratively and simple experiments to practise. Families who want gradual, measurable change tend to find this approach helpful.
