Miss Linda Prinsloo

Social Worker (Mental Health)

A registered social worker providing: - Support and psycho-education to people diagnosed with a mental illness, as well as that to their families (individually and groups) - Trauma-related counselling - Support in deeper self-understanding - General counselling

About Me

As a registered social worker, I support individuals and families navigating mental health challenges. I offer psycho-education to help you understand your experiences, and trauma-related Counseling to process difficult events. We can also explore paths to deeper self-understanding. My aim is to create a space where you feel heard, whether in individual or group sessions. Here, you can gain practical tools for daily well-being.

Approach

We begin by listening closely, then move into gentle exploration and clear psycho-education that helps make sense of symptoms and memories. Sessions in Pretoria, in English or Afrikaans, or online, tend to alternate focused discussion with short exercises you can try between meetings to build coping skills and strengthen relationships. I keep a calm, structured pace and offer feedback so change feels manageable and collaborative. This way of working tends to help adults and families seeking steadier emotional balance and clearer ways forward.
