About Me

The reason for becoming a therapist is to help, understand, and make a difference in people’s lives. My mission is to help explore a simpler, happier life through personalized therapy sessions tailored to you.Therapy, to me, means being seen, understood, and heard even on your darkest days, sharing what you have been carrying on your shoulders and finding better days again, together with only trust and empathy. I am a passionate, committed, and hard-working psychologist who will tailor therapy sessions to your specific needs. With my specialization in CBT and mindfulness, my work allows me to work integratively with patients. My aim, is to reduce my clients psychological distress and enhance their overall mental well-being through both short- and long-term sessions. And slowly building resilience and finding a positive way back into your routine and daily life. This is therapy for me. Working at a previous counseling center and now in private practice, my specialization focuses on a wide range of anxieties, social anxiety, health anxiety, as well as burnout (ex., work or university life), depression, life crises, grief, and loss. My space is nonjudgmental, empathetic, safe, and trustworthy. I am open to all ages, cultures, nationalities, thoughts, statuses, and whatever may be brought into therapy.

Approach

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of talking therapy that can help alleviate your difficulties and problems. CBT is based on your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations, and actions, by changing negative patterns to positive patterns. Unlike some other talking treatments, CBT deals with your current problems rather than always focusing on your past. Positive Psychology with Mindfulness is used in therapy sessions to give psychoeducation on new tools, breathing exercises, or stress reduced tools to help in ones every day life.
