verified by TherapyRoute

I am a clinical psychologist dedicated to supporting individuals from diverse groups on their journey toward healing, personal growth, and self-understanding. Whether you are navigating a specific difficulty or seeking insight into your life, I am here to walk that journey with you. My goal is to offer compassionate, thoughtful, and tailored support to those who seek to cultivate healthier well-being and fulfillment.

About Me

I am a clinical psychologist based in Highlands North, Johannesburg (three minutes from Norwood). I work with adolescents and adults, as well as couples and families, who are navigating a range of emotional, relational, and psychological challenges. I believe that our lived experiences shape how we view ourselves, relate to others, and respond to the difficulties we encounter in life. Wherever you find yourself in your mental health journey, I aim to meet you where you are and to explore your experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. My areas of interest include depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment difficulties, life transitions, identity-related concerns, grief and bereavement, emotional dysregulation, behavioural difficulties, work or academic stressors, relationship challenges, and family relational difficulties.

Approach

I work from an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing on psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). My work is centred on creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental therapeutic space in which clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences with openness and ease. In my practice, therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we identify your needs and tailor the therapeutic approach accordingly. During sessions, we may explore patterns, behaviours, fears, urges, and emotional responses that contribute to distress or maladaptive functioning, while also developing adaptive, practical coping strategies. I strive to honour and remain sensitive to my clients’ cultural identities, belief systems, sexual orientations, and broader contexts that shape their lived experiences.
