Kawa

Mr Kawa Bevrani

Clinical Social Worker

Kawa works with people experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including emotional overwhelm, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, the effects of past trauma, and ongoing stress. He has particular expertise in working with complex and developmental trauma, including experiences of childhood abuse or neglect, as well as sexual assault, domestic violence, and alcohol and other drug (AOD) concerns.

About Me

Kawa (also known as Kaveh) is a compassionate clinician with over seven years’ experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, and life challenges. He offers a calm, respectful, and non-judgemental space where clients can feel understood, supported, and safe to explore what is holding them back.

Approach

Sessions unfold at a pace that feels manageable, guided by calm attention and curiosity as we spot patterns that keep you stuck. I see people from across Victoria and online, working in English or Farsi, with flexible weekly or fortnightly meetings to fit life. Therapy mixes values-based experiments, careful memory work for trauma, and practical coping skills to practice between sessions, all paced to your tolerance. This way of working often helps those seeking steady, practical change and clearer choices.
