Specialist Wellness Counselor

Embrace the change. Heal your past, navigate the now, and grow into your future. Change begins when you're truly heard.

About Me

Life's changes can feel overwhelming. Here, you'll find a supportive space where you can truly be heard. We explore your past experiences, helping you gain clarity in the present. Together, we'll navigate current challenges and cultivate personal growth. This collaborative approach suits clients ready to embrace change. It helps you move confidently towards your future, finding practical ways forward. My aim is for you to feel deeply understood.

Approach

When change feels uncertain, I help you translate past experiences into clear, manageable steps so you can act differently in the present. Sessions in Hillcrest, Durban, or online in English are calm and paced to your rhythm, with space for short check-ins between meetings to keep momentum and practice new responses. We use gentle, practical exploration—asking where thoughts, body sensations, and relationships intersect—to uncover patterns and try small experiments. People navigating anxiety, grief, or family shifts often find this steady, collaborative rhythm helpful.

Basic Information

Services

I offer holistic services that support emotional well-being, personal growth, and practical life skills across all ages. My work includes wellness counselling, ADHD coaching, executive functioning support, and play-led interventions for children and adolescents. Sessions are tailored to the individual, combining emotional support with practical, evidence-informed skills that can be applied in everyday life. These include tools for emotional regulation, communication, focus, organization, and healthy coping strategies. I work from a strengths-based, non-judgmental approach, viewing the person as a whole and capable, and addressing challenges as experiences to be understood rather than flaws to be fixed. Whether support is needed for emotional processing, focus and motivation, behavioural challenges, or personal development, I aim to create a safe, supportive space that encourages insight, confidence, and meaningful, sustainable change.
