Ms Karen Jeffrey

Psychotherapist (Registered)

I am a relational psychodynamic therapist using an integrative approach to therapy. I provide psychoeducation in attachment, neuroscience (IPNB), the brain and the body and how it's all connected to your health. I use mindfulness & present moment experience as a tool for building self-awareness.

About Me

I help you understand how your past relationships and experiences shape your present health. My integrative approach explores attachment and neuroscience, showing how your brain and body are connected. We'll use mindfulness and present moment awareness to build your self-awareness. This deep understanding can help you unravel complex feelings. It's ideal if you want to connect your inner world to lasting well-being.

Approach

I invite you to slow down and notice how earlier relationship patterns show up in your body and choices; I blend short psychoeducation moments with simple present-moment practices so noticing becomes usable information. In York or online in English, sessions move at a steady, exploratory pace—tracking triggers, linking sensations to stories, and trying small experiments between meetings. This approach often helps adults coping with anxiety, attention challenges, trauma or relationship strain who want practical insight that changes daily life.
