Kade Sharp

Licensed Clinical Social Workers

A Child Mental Health Specialist & Registered Play Therapist who works with kids 2-10 experiencing anxiety, are autistic, or are LGBTQ+.

About Me

I support children aged 2-10, helping them navigate big feelings and discover their unique strengths. Through playful, creative sessions, I guide those experiencing anxiety, who are autistic, or exploring their LGBTQ+ identity. My aim is for every child to feel truly seen and understood. We use play to make sense of worries and build confidence, helping them thrive.

Approach

Sessions unfold like guided play laboratories where the child’s interests steer our pace and goals. I meet families in person in Richland, Washington or online in English, keeping meetings calm, predictable, and lightly structured. We blend hands-on activities, sensory tools, and brief parent check-ins, gently practicing coping steps across sessions and with simple home ideas between visits. This way of working suits caregivers seeking practical, respectful partnership as their child becomes more confident and regulated.
