I am a clinical psychologist in private practice and I provide therapy for adults and adolescents. Either short-term or long term therapy is available depending on your requirements.

About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist based in Witkoppen, Gauteng, South Africa. I provide counseling and online therapy for anger, anxiety, grief and loss, stress and burnout, and mood disorders. I work with you to build practical coping skills and restore daily functioning.

Approach

The aim of my therapeutic approach is to provide a meaningful understanding of your difficulties and a deeper understanding of who you are as an individual. Theoretically I predominantly use a Psychodynamic perspective, which I integrate with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Interpersonal therapeutic techniques.

Basic Information

Services

Therapy is a process through which a person works one-on-one with a trained psychologist in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. The purpose of this is to be able to explore your feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of your lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.

People seek therapy for a wide variety of reasons, from coping with major life difficulties or childhood trauma, to dealing with depression or anxiety, to simply desiring personal growth and greater self-knowledge.
