Licensed Educational Psychologist

Short & long term psychodynamic and/ attachment-based psychotherapy. Parents of 0-3 years &Under Fives. Advocate for Infant Mental Health.

About Me

I am a licensed educational psychologist in Strubensvalley-Rumsig, Gauteng, South Africa. I assess children and provide diagnostic assessments, counseling, play therapy, and parenting support. I work with clients facing life transitions, relationship problems, grief, and trauma.

Approach

Through a psychodynamic, attachment-aware stance I attend closely to interactions, silence and small gestures to help parents and young children feel seen and regulated. Sessions in Roodepoort or online flow at the family’s tempo, often using gentle reflection, play-based noticing and short structured observations that inform ongoing thinking between meetings. I collaborate on practical next steps you can try at home, then reflect together on what changed. This way of working tends to suit caregivers navigating early parenthood, transitions or developmental uncertainty.
