About Me

I'm Julie, offering culturally sensitive Counseling for everyday New Zealanders. With decades of experience, I've supported people through life's diverse challenges. I understand the unique pressures many face. My particular passion is helping those impacted by addiction find practical ways forward. I aim to create an accessible space where you feel truly heard. Together, we can navigate difficulties and discover lasting well-being.

Approach

Together we focus on practical steps and small shifts that suit your life, exploring thoughts, behaviours and values with kindness. I work with adults in Tauranga and online in English, keeping sessions accessible and down-to-earth. Sessions blend ACT and mindfulness exercises with straightforward counselling, pacing work to your readiness and giving short practices between meetings. People managing addiction, trauma or persistent anxiety often find this steady, practical approach useful.
