Therapist / Counselor (Qualifying)

Many of us were taught that we should help others first, and no one taught us how to help ourselves. What could happen if we dared to take our potent ability to love and turn it inward to the person that needed it the most? I like to adapt humor into my therapeutic process. I am an IFS Level 1 Trained Therapist.

About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Boulder, Colorado. I help you address anxiety, relationship issues, mood disorders, personal development, and dream work through counseling, psychotherapy, mindfulness, and philosophical reflection.

Approach

Turning attention inward can feel strange; I keep things light with dry humor and curiosity so parts can relax and begin to speak. Whether we meet in my Boulder office or online in English, sessions move at a steady, conversational pace—sometimes playful, sometimes quiet—so you set the tempo. We explore parts with IFS-informed curiosity, practice mindfulness and philosophical reflection, and try small experiments between sessions to shift anxiety, mood, relationships, dreams, and burnout patterns. Those who’ve been caretakers or stuck in self-neglect often find this approachable way useful.

Services

My counselor training at Naropa University is based in Gestalt therapy. I orient as a therapist through a lens that when we have fully dealt with our issues they naturally move into the background. What most hinders us as individuals is the unfinished business following us into the present moment. Once our unfinished business is completed in the present moment we naturally open up to the vivid reality of our remarkable existence.

I offer a 50 minute telehealth therapy sessions. For new clients I offer free 15 minute phone consultations and free 40 minute video consults.
