Jo Eaton

Integrative Psychotherapist

I am a down to earth counsellor working with adults and young people in East Sussex and beyond. I offer online video sessions as well as in person and outdoor walking therapy. I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues.

About Me

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor in Hadlow Down, East Sussex, United Kingdom, offering individual therapy online, in person and outdoors. I work with adults in life transitions, anxiety, stress and burnout, depression, grief, loss, relationship issues and more.

Approach

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice.

I am an Integrative counsellor which means that I have training in a range of counselling theories and techniques. This allows me to tailor my approach to best suit your individual needs.

I will not push you to talk about anything you don't want to. The counselling will be at your pace and it's up to you what we focus on. I will respect you and I am not here to judge your thoughts, feelings or actions or to give direct advice.

My aim will be to help you to feel at ease and to build the trust required for open and honest conversation to take place. I will take time to understand the world from your point of view and together we will explore what has brought you to counselling and what you need from the sessions.

I have recently added outdoor walk and talk therapy as an option for in-person work. Time in nature, as well as gentle exercise, can provide an added element to your therapy.
