Services
I’m passionate about helping those seeking change in their lives to achieve their goals. My education in multi-cultural counseling and social justice means that I approach each individual with empathy and awareness when it comes to navigating learning differences, racial and gender identities, and trauma history. I understand we each have our own story and challenges, making the recovery and healing process unique for each of us. I help clients to identify and achieve small-scale, doable goals which build a foundation for lasting change.
My primary focus is working with individuals struggling with addiction, trauma, weight and body image, disordered eating, depression, and anxiety. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and other tools to help clients overcome and move past behaviors that aren’t contributing to their personal growth and happiness.
Congratulations on your willingness to create change in your life! You’ve taken the first step. I know firsthand the pain and struggle that can result from trauma and self-destructive behaviors. My aim as a therapist is to offer you the support and tools you need as you work through your challenges and discover a happier, healthier way to live.
