Dr Jeannette van Dyk takes an individual-centred approach from a Christian context and aims to empower her clients with skills and practical tools to become resilient to deal more effectively with life challenges in relationships and at work. She works mostly with young adults, adults and couples.

About Me

I am a licensed psychologist in Allensnek, Gauteng, South Africa. I help you work through grief, career issues, relationship problems, stress, burnout and trauma. I provide assessments, trauma counseling and relationship counseling in a clear, confidential setting.

Some of the areas included during the individual counselling process can entail bereavement and grief counselling; trauma counselling; stress and anxiety management; personal growth and development; procrastination; self-esteem building; and emotional intelligence.

Career counselling

Throughout your career, there will undoubtedly be difficulties and challenges you face. Here, we aim to resolve any conflicts, hardships or changes you may experience in your career.

I will help you discover where you feel most comfortable going forward in your career. By clearly identifying your interests, strengths and history, we can navigate a path to finding your most suitable workspace.

A psychometric assessment will determine your best career based on your intelligence, personality, interests, values and potential.

In addition, I am a certified advanced and registered Level 2 practitioner of BWRT and a member of the British Brainworking Research Society. Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT) is a cutting edge counselling technique that is based on neuroscience. This technique can bring major relief and change in a short space and time. I make use of integrative and evidence-based therapies.

My approach depends on the client’s needs and circumstances and can also include any of the following approaches:
