Ms Janice Lam

Psychotherapist

As a finance professional turned psychotherapist, I know what it means to ‘have it all’ yet never feel good enough; to be climbing a ladder yet feel like you’re going nowhere; to achieve success yet lose yourself in the process. Combining CBT with art and mindfulness, I help professionals be their most balanced self.

About Me

I understand the unique pressures professionals face when success feels unfulfilling. My background helps me connect with your experience of striving yet feeling lost. I blend CBT with art and mindfulness, offering practical tools to cultivate inner balance. This compassionate space helps you explore how to truly thrive amidst career demands. We can work together to help you reconnect with your authentic self.

Approach

You’ll notice a blend of practical focus and gentle exploration, moving between cognitive framing, short creative tasks and mindful attention to what’s actually happening in your body. In my Hong Kong room or online, in Cantonese, Mandarin or English, I keep sessions tightly paced to fit busy weeks while leaving space for curiosity. I invite small experiments—brief between-session practices, quick art prompts and focused reflections—to test new ways of relating to work, family and self. This way of working often helps high-performing people seeking clearer priorities and steadier calm.
