About Me

Hello, My name is James McGuinness. I am a fully qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist and accredited IACP member. I am the founder of Able Minds Counselling & Psychotherapy. As an integrative counsellor, I am aware that the reasons people reach out for counselling are diverse in nature and the process is unique for each individual.

Approach

My therapeutic approach draws from various models of therapy including Person centred, Psychodynamic, CBT and mindfulness based therapies which ensures a personalised approach to each individual's needs.
