Isha Aggarwal, MSW
Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
“Hi! I’m Isha Aggarwal: a therapist and deeply feeling human. If you’ve landed here, you may have spent a long time trying to understand yourself. Reading books, listening to podcasts, going to therapy, wondering why you feel things so deeply when other people seem to move through life with ease. From the outside, your life may look like it's working. You meet deadlines, care deeply about others, and carry responsibility well. Yet privately, your inner world feels far more complicated than anyone realizes. Perhaps you've been told you're too sensitive, too emotional, too intense, or that you think too much. Over time, you've learned to question yourself more than you trust yourself. The people I work with are emotionally complex. Many emotionally complex humans do not have “disordered brains.” They have deeply sensitive nervous systems and learned to mask their true nature and deal with their emotions in isolation. They may have experienced invalidation and denial of their true nature and learned to hide it over time. In therapy, I believe this should be approached with curiosity rather than judgment. ”
