“I offer you a safe, respectful space to explore and understand your anxiety, emotional overwhelm and relationship difficulties. Together, we can identify what needs to change and take practical steps towards making that change.”

About me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist (COPSI Romania - RUP 38995) and IFS-validated practitioner, trained in France (https://ifs-association.com/annuaire/johanne-bastake/ ), with over 20 years of experience in complementary therapeutic practice, including hypnotherapy and nutrition. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties or challenges with boundaries, helping them understand their emotions and behavioural patterns and find practical ways forward through brief psychological interventions.

Approach

I offer you a safe, confidential space that is entirely yours, a place to pause and feel that for this time, it is all about you. You are welcome to take the time you need before exploring what is happening in your life and what you might want to change. When you feel ready, we will work together to turn that understanding into meaningful changes, step by step.

Services

We begin by clarifying what is troubling you and understanding the nature of the difficulty. We consider whether any medical factors might be contributing and, when necessary, recommend an appropriate medical evaluation. We then look at how much the problem affects you, on a scale from 1 to 10, and how motivated you feel to change it, also on a scale from 1 to 10. Once we have a clearer picture, we explore what triggers your reactions, how certain patterns developed and what keeps them going. Together, we identify what you would like to change and work towards it step by step, using practical strategies, IFS-based approaches and techniques, visualisation and hypnosis when appropriate. We regularly review your progress and adjust our approach along the way. Each step forward matters, and consistency creates lasting change.
