I work with you as a whole person, not simply a problem or a set of symptoms. We explore what matters to you, what may be keeping you stuck, and how the different parts of your life fit together.

About Me

You may be here because something in your life doesn’t feel right. You may be anxious, overwhelmed or low, facing a difficult change, questioning who you are or what you want from your life. Or it may be harder to explain than that. You just know that things can’t carry on as they are. You don’t need to have everything worked out before starting therapy. We can begin with whatever is happening for you now. I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist with over 20 years’ experience. I have worked with people from many different backgrounds and at different stages of life, dealing with difficulties ranging from immediate problems and crises to deeper questions about identity, relationships, meaning and purpose. My experience also includes coaching, mediation and working with people and teams in organisations. This gives me a strong understanding of workplace relationships, career change, conflict and the pressures that can come with professional life.

Approach

I offer a thoughtful, confidential and non-judgemental place where you can talk openly about what is happening in your life. I help you explore your experiences, relationships and choices, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and consider what you want for yourself and your life. What is happening in one part of your life often connects with other parts, such as your relationships, work, family, identity, past experiences, hopes and choices. Understanding these connections can help you see your situation differently and find ways for the different parts of your life to work more harmoniously together. This can also involve exploring bigger questions: what gives your life meaning and purpose, how you relate to other people, your sense of identity, and how you respond to loss, uncertainty and change. The focus is on understanding your particular experience and helping you find your own way forward.

Services

I work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship and family difficulties, bereavement, low self-esteem, work-related problems and significant changes in life. I also work with people who feel lost, stuck or dissatisfied, or who want to explore questions around identity, meaning and purpose. Identity and cultural issues are an important part of my practice, including ethnicity, belonging and the experience of navigating different cultures. I also work with neurodivergent clients, including people with ADHD and autism.
