Greg James

Psychotherapist

I am a trauma specialist working integratively with talk and somatic therapies to safely and effectively treat the symptoms and root causes of trauma and PTSD. Trauma does not have to be a life sentence.

About Me

I specialise in helping individuals navigate the profound impact of trauma and PTSD. We work integratively, combining talk therapy with somatic techniques. This approach addresses both immediate symptoms and deeper root causes. My aim is to create a safe space for you to process difficult experiences. Here, you can discover that trauma does not have to be a life sentence, finding lasting relief.

Approach

Finding relief often comes through steady, paced work that connects what you say with what your body remembers. In Trowbridge and online (English), I create a calm, predictable session rhythm — brief grounding, focused narrative work, and gentle body-based tracking — and we set small, achievable goals between meetings. Sessions tend to be collaborative and exploratory, attending to anger, anxiety and traumatic charge with curiosity rather than pressure. People seeking practical, embodied change usually find this way of working helpful.
