Mr Graeme Burton

Clinical Psychologist

I have been a registered clinical psychologist since 1996 and in private practice since 2009., working mainly with adults and adolescents.

About Me

As a clinical psychologist, I have supported adults and adolescents since 1996. My long experience in private practice since 2009 means I deeply understand the unique pressures these age groups face. Together, we can explore challenges, making sense of difficult feelings and finding practical ways forward. I aim to create a space where you feel truly heard, fostering resilience and lasting well-being.

Approach

Having worked mainly with adults and adolescents since 1996, I focus on paced, practical sessions that balance careful assessment with everyday problem-solving. In my Perth consulting room, conducted in English, we set clear meeting goals, use reflective questions to make sense of patterns, and agree on small steps to try between sessions. Sessions are steady and collaborative, attending to safety and relationships while building skills for managing anxiety, loss or behavioural challenges. People looking for thoughtful, realistic change tend to find this approach helpful.
