Ms Gillian Curtis

Registered Counselor

An experienced, compassionate, and competent therapist working primarily with Adults both online and in person. My approach to counselling is relational, experiential, attachment-based and trauma-informed.

About Me

I offer a space where we can gently explore past experiences and current challenges together. My relational approach means our connection forms a safe foundation for this work. We can explore how early relationships shape you now. An experiential lens helps process difficult emotions, allowing you to understand yourself more deeply. This fosters lasting change and resilience, supporting your unique journey towards well-being.

Approach

Sessions move at a gentle, steady pace: we notice how early attachments surface in body, thoughts and relationships, and use experiential exercises to safely process those moments. Whether we meet in my Vancouver office or online in English, the room stays practical and attentive, with mindfulness and psychoeducation threaded through our work. Between meetings I offer small, doable practices and collaborative reflections to help translate insights into daily choices. Adults navigating anxiety, trauma, addiction or relationship challenges often find this focused, relational style grounding.
