About Me

Gail is an experienced Counselling Psychologist. She works with individuals who suffer from depression and anxiety, are looking to find a greater sense of meaning and purpose for their lives, are struggling in their relationships and a variety of other mental health and social issues such as bereavement and identity.

Approach

Embarking on a therapeutic journey can be a daunting process. The following questions might be milling around in your mind: Which therapist is right for me? Will this person heal me? How long will it take to heal my past? Can I be completely honest? Can I trust this person? My role is to provide a confidential, safe and non-judgmental space in which you can explore whether this is the right space for you and if you feel comfortable talking about the pressing issues that you would like to deal with. The therapeutic relationship is a meaningful and honest conversation whereby you can become more fully you. The process encourages you to be authentic and true to yourself. You are welcome as you are. Whatever you choose to share is acceptable within the boundary of a respectful therapeutic relationship.
