About Me
As a psychologist and therapist, my professional path has been shaped by the integration of different traditions and a rich range of life experiences—fully engaged with life, as a partner, as an expat in various cultures, as a researcher, and as a meditation teacher.
My integrative background - including systemic, psychodynamic and humanistic psychology - gives me a perspective that differs from most practitioners. I can work with serious problems on the levels of personal history, unconscious processes, and in the present moment.
Over the years, I have developed a therapeutic style that is emotionally honest, insight-oriented, grounded, and at the same time practical and solution-focused. Many clients come to me when they sense that simple or standardized approaches are not enough to reach the deeper layers of their difficulties. They value that my work offers no ready-made answers, but instead brings together genuine curiosity, conceptual clarity, and a deep understanding of real, lived life.
Clients often describe me as clear, thoughtful, and highly skilled at articulating what they themselves have felt but not yet understood. My aim is to offer a level of precision and depth that stands in contrast to generic, symptom-focused therapy, or AI-generated content. Real psychological change requires nuanced insight, ethical courage, and relational depth, and these are the conditions I help clients cultivate.
Approach
My approach is oriented toward the challenges of the 21st century. I work with people who find themselves in complex relationships, who feel lonely, struggle with professional pressures, or who wish to experience their inner world in a more vivid and coherent way.
Like most therapists, I began my work with classical therapeutic methods. Over time, however, it became clear to me that these approaches alone are often not sufficient. Since then, I have worked intensively with modern models, seeking to connect a deep understanding of the mind with the concrete realities of my clients’ everyday lives.
The people I work with are usually reflective, capable, and fundamentally open to change. Their difficulties often do not arise from a lack of ability, but from the fact that the pieces of their lives have not yet come together into a meaningful whole. In our shared work, we therefore gently deepen the understanding of thoughts, emotions, and external life circumstances, and bring them into relationship with one another. This kind of careful exploration lays the foundation for genuine and lasting change. Together, we develop an inner compass, conceptual clarity, and practical tools that help you understand yourself more deeply—and support you both in everyday life and on your path forward.
