About Me
Approach
I am a psychologist with over 10 years experience specializing in treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use and relational issues. My passion lies in helping you navigate your journey to well-being by providing you with a therapeutic experience that will help you regain control of your life by recognizing the patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that have affected your ability to thrive.
I believe that human beings are so resilient. There’s truly no trauma and emotional pain so big that we can’t bounce back from. When you take control of your thoughts, emotions and behaviour, you take control of your life. I provide a safe, authentic and positive environment in my therapy space to allow you to show up as your truest self.
As a psychotherapist, my approach is integrative, drawing on evidence-based modalities to meet my client’s unique needs. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) guides my work in helping individuals explore attachment dynamics and foster deeper emotional connection and healing. At the core of my practice is a Person-Centered framework, where I offer a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and supportive environment, empowering clients to grow at their own pace and direction. This flexible, compassionate, and collaborative approach allows for tailored, meaningful therapeutic experiences.
I look forward to working with you.
