Counseling Psychologist

Are you feeling blue, unmotivated, with negative thoughts? As a trained Psychologist with over twelve years of experience, I offer my services so you can regain control and live a better life.

About Me

I’m a Psychologist from Argentina living in Germany (Leipzig) with over 12 years of experience. I graduated from Buenos Aires University and afterwards I continued my training in a post-graduate degree of clinical Psychology. Through the early years of my career I gained experience working with children, adolescents and elderly people. For over ten years now I have been working as a therapist in an interdisciplinary praxis. Every psychological treatment was not only different and unique, but it also taught me a lot about the profession and myself. I've been living in Germany for five years now and I wanted to continue my work in this profession, which I love. To achieve that, I started to explore and study new psychological approaches, so I can have more tools to help my patients. I also supervise my work with other colleagues and continue my own therapy. I offer a safe and respectful environment to work calmly in your goals, validate your emotions, explore what thoughts are arising, find relief, discover your own path and achieve fulfilment.

Approach

I work with adults in one-hour sessions focusing on what's bothering them now, what are the things they would like to improve or change, in a safe and respectful environment. Then, together, we will visualize the best path to follow setting goals, exploring new ways to solve problems, adopting new strategies, focusing on finding alternatives and expanding resources in order to achieve the autonomy and well-being.

Services

I have a postgraduate degree in clinical psychology specialized in Psychoanalysis. And in the past few years, I studied new psychological approaches: Cognitive-behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This way, I have more tools to help my patients and adjust my interventions according to their needs. My cognitive training complements my prior training, allowing me to combine the specific psychoanalytic listening with the implementation of cognitive-behavioural strategies.
