Emem Iniobong
Counselor
“An experienced , competent, and compassionate mental health counsellor working with children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families.”
About Me
I am an experienced mental health counsellor, dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families. I understand the unique challenges each life stage presents. Our sessions offer a compassionate space where everyone can feel truly heard. We work collaboratively to explore feelings and find practical ways forward. My aim is to help individuals and families navigate difficult emotions, building stronger connections and resilience.
Approach
Skilled, steady, and empathetic care shapes how I work, centering attuned listening with down-to-earth, practical steps so you feel heard and able to act. In Brandon or through secure online sessions in English, we set a comfortable pace, mixing calm reflection with focused skill-building. Sessions often pair brief psychoeducation and CBT-style practice with between-session experiments that target mood, anxiety, behaviour or family patterns while honouring spiritual values. This way of working often helps adolescents, parents and families seeking clearer coping and stronger connections.
