Clinical Psychologist

I offer online therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, trauma-related difficulties, OCD symptoms, grief and loss, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and the emotional impact of chronic illness and major life transitions.

About Me

I am a clinical psychologist based in Yerevan, Armenia, offering online therapy mainly in Armenian but also in English, and Russian. I work with adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma-related difficulties, OCD symptoms, grief, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, and the emotional impact of chronic illness. My academic background includes a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy from Yerevan State University. I am also in advanced psychotherapy training at the Yerevan Gestalt Institute, an associated member of EAGT (the European Association for Gestalt Therapy). My clinical work has included online practice, community mental health settings, and psycho-oncology and palliative care support for individuals and families facing serious illness and loss. I am especially committed to supporting Armenian-speaking clients and members of the Armenian diaspora who are seeking therapy in their native language. For many people, speaking in their mother tongue creates a greater sense of emotional safety, clarity, and depth in therapy.

Approach

My therapeutic style is warm, respectful, and collaborative. I believe that every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves, even when life feels heavy, confusing, or emotionally overwhelming. At times, people come to therapy during very dark periods of life, and I believe that with the right support, those periods can gradually give way to greater clarity, relief, and hope. My primary orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I also integrate Gestalt-informed, trauma-informed, and experiential approaches when clinically appropriate. In our work together, we may explore recurring emotional patterns, automatic thoughts, core beliefs, relationship dynamics, and coping strategies that may no longer be serving you. I aim to help you better understand your inner world while also developing practical tools for meaningful and sustainable change. I see therapy as both a space for insight and a space for healing. My goal is to offer an emotionally safe, non-judgmental environment where you can feel understood, supported, and gently challenged when needed. Whether you are facing anxiety, grief, trauma-related difficulties, OCD symptoms, relationship pain, or a difficult life transition, I hope our work can help you move toward greater balance, resilience, and a deeper connection with yourself.
