About Me
I am a psychotherapist in Nayanda Halli, Karnataka, India. I treat adolescents for anxiety, relationship problems, and stress or burnout. I offer family therapy and teach communication and coping skills.
Approach
I use an eclectic approach in psychotherapy. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy with a focus on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Emotion- Focussed Therapy. I believe in the combined use of various modalities in therapy based on the unique need of each client who approaches me. Although I am a trained Cognitive behaviour Therapist, I believe in the role of Psychoanalysis in understanding where the client comes from and what are the elements from his or her childhood, upbringing and the social- cultural context which would define him as a person and would help us in exploring his difficulties while providing him a safe space in therapy.
