Dr Lyane Trepanier

Psychologist

I work with adults suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and grief, and with couples whose struggle is connection & communication.

About Me

I provide a supportive space for adults grappling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or grief. For couples, I help navigate challenges in connection and communication. As a Psychologist, I guide you to understand underlying patterns and develop practical strategies. Our collaborative sessions aim to foster resilience and build stronger, more fulfilling relationships. I focus on helping you make sense of your experiences, leading to lasting change.

Approach

When days feel heavy from depression, anxiety, trauma or loss, I focus on practical, paced work that helps you regain a sense of agency. In Montreal and online, in English or French, sessions combine active listening with brief skill-building, real-time feedback and shared goal-setting to address patterns and communication breaks. Between meetings I suggest small, doable experiments or short reflections to test what changes. This way of working tends to suit adults and couples who want clear steps toward feeling steadier and more connected.
