Dr Lisa Pittman

Licensed Psychologist

I am licensed/registered to do (tele)therapy with individuals in VA, DC, WI, and the United Kingdom, as well as some other locations with PSYPACT endorsement. Please note that I send/respond to emails within one business day, so, please check your Junk/Spam folder in case my message goes there. Thank you!

About Me

As a seasoned practitioner, I offer professional and accessible support to individuals for a variety of presented issues of concern. My extensive licensing (including my PSYPACT-endorsement) enables me to connect virtually (through telehealth) with individuals across several states in the US, as well as in the UK and beyond. I aim to create a grounded, confidential space for you to explore your concerns, with an objective of building skills and working towards establishing practical solutions to promote lasting well-being.

Approach

Licensed across VA, DC, WI and the UK, my sessions are structured to move from clear goals to small, practical steps that feel manageable. I hold sessions in English via secure video for clients, with an objective of focusing on identifying and implementing coping skills, and implementation of those skills so that they become routine and can exact change. This approach is beneficial for those who are managing transitions/adjustments, difficulties with mood, and interpersonal challenges.
