About Me
Approach
I believe that building a rapport is the most important aspect of the therapeutic connection between therapist and patient. I will meet you where you are at! If you are unsure of therapy, we will explore it together and I will assist you on your therapeutic journey!
I am fully committed to providing services that affirm the dignity, worth, and value of all individuals. I am dedicated to promoting an environment of respect and appreciation for the race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, ancestry, physicalmental ability, sexual orientation, marital status, parental status, gender identity, gender expression, and socioeconomic status of all persons. I believe in creating an atmosphere of openness, trust, respect, and safety where diverse attitudes, beliefs, values, and behaviors can be explored and discussed. Mental health concerns are often affected by social forces in the environment related to power and privilege such as racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, heterosexism, and other forms of marginalization and oppression. My practice fully embraces providing high quality, diverse, and multi-culturally sensitive services that affirm the dignity, worth and value of all individuals.
