Art Therapist

Verified

I am a fully trained Mental Health Practitioner and Art Therapist. My work combines counselling techniques with wellness coaching strategies to create a space that feels safe, comfortable, and supportive. I provide counselling that is responsive to your individual needs, taking into account how you process information, communicate, and what your goals and expectations are.

About Me

Originally from Toronto, Canada, a city rich in multicultural diversity, I’m familiar with an incredible variety of cultures, customs, and ways of being. Now living in Spain, I am also an expat, and know very well the exhilaration and challenges of relocating to a completely new culture! Apart from my passion as a mental health practitioner, I love being physically active. Living in a beautiful city like Valencia, on the shores of the Mediterranean, is a dream come true. I am passionate about cycling, swimming, hiking and horse riding. I also love drawing and painting, and am not too bad in the kitchen! I relocated to Valencia, Spain in 2016, where I work in private practice, and continue to present my work internationally.

Approach

My approach is eclectic, drawing on positive psychology and motivational methods such as Solution-Focused Therapy, wellness coaching, and life enhancement strategies. Whether we use one approach or a combination of them, the focus is always on building from your existing strengths and resilience, because that is the foundation of my work.
