Denize

Ms Denize Shah-Hosseini

Licensed Clinical Social Workers

I support individuals and couples in navigating identity, trauma, and relationships through a culturally grounded, anti-oppressive, and results-oriented therapeutic approach.

About Me

I am a Registered Social Worker in Old Toronto, Ontario. I provide counseling and psychoeducation for anxiety, stress and burnout, and mood and eating disorders. I offer child and adolescent therapy and support for relationship issues.

Approach

Therapy here moves at a steady, practical pace, pairing culturally attuned reflection with concrete, measurable steps toward safety and clearer self-understanding. I offer flexible in-person sessions in Toronto and secure online support in English and Farsi so people can engage where and how they feel safest. Sessions blend symptom-focused work—mood and body tracking, trauma processing, and relational patterns—with collaborative between-session experiments, brief family or partner check-ins when helpful, and clear goals we revisit together. This way of working tends to suit those seeking compassionate, practical change.
