About Me
I am a clinical psychologist based in Linden, Gauteng, South Africa. Being a psychologist has been the single most rewarding and enjoyable part of my life thus far. I consider it a sacred privilege to be part of my clients' journeys, and am continuously in awe of their courage to overcome the greatest of pains, tragedies and traumas. They have taught me much about the human spirit and its capacity to not only grow - but eventually triumph.
Approach
My work follows an integrative framework with humanistic psychology at its core. Working in an integrative way means that I bring together different therapeutic modalities (such as person-centered therapy, attachment theory, Relational Pattern Analysis and Integrative Brain-based approaches), depending on their relevance and suitability to individual clients. As a humanist at heart, the foundation of my work is rooted in the belief that each person has inherent worth and the potential for self-actualisation. This foundation also emphasises the importance of understanding your unique perspective and experiences; fostering a non-judgmental and supportive therapeutic environment.

Basic Information
Services
I am a neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, and currently offer individual sessions at my practice in Linden (Randburg, Johannesburg) as well as online. Sessions can take place weekly or every second week, depending on your needs.
While I work with adults of various ages and with a range of difficulties, I find it particularly rewarding to work with young adults navigating the unique complexities of their 20s and 30s. My special interests include (but are not limited to) depression, anxiety, neurodivergence and trauma. I also have an interest in helping clients with relationship difficulties, and working with major life changes, losses or events.
I know that starting therapy can be a daunting, anxiety provoking experience and you may have many questions before booking that first session. So, if you have any thoughts or concerns, or perhaps feel ready to take that first step, please feel free to get in touch. You are also welcome to have a look at my website at www.danielebroadley.com.
