Mr Daniel Martinez Tafolla

Clinical Counselors

My practice is holistic, addressing the cognitive, emotional, physical, and spirit of the individuals in therapy. My focus is on family, couples and individuals. I also provide services in both English and Spanish. Additionally, I work with both male and female survivors of trauma.

About Me

I offer a space where individuals, couples, and families can explore challenges holistically. We can work together to understand how cognitive, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects intertwine. In our sessions, you'll find a supportive environment to process experiences and build resilience. I also welcome male and female survivors of trauma, offering support in both English and Spanish.

Approach

Sessions move between noticing thoughts and body sensations, building practical skills, and naming patterns that affect relationships and family life. In New Westminster I work in English or Spanish, meeting face-to-face in a calm, focused setting that balances reflection with active problem-solving. We use brief grounding practices, targeted dialogue to shift interaction cycles, and short between-session exercises that bring small changes into daily routines. This way of working often fits young adults, parents, and couples navigating trauma, transitions, or relational wounds.
