Mrs Cindy Yeates

Counselor

I am a person-centred counsellor and empower my clients to trust in themselves, to become aware, cope, develop and grow.

About Me

I offer a warm, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. As a person-centred counsellor, I empower you to trust your inner wisdom. We will work together to foster self-awareness and develop new coping strategies. This collaborative approach truly supports your unique journey towards lasting personal growth. It suits anyone ready to build confidence and find their own way forward.

Approach

You’ll find our work guided by your pace and priorities, using gentle curiosity to help you notice patterns, manage difficult feelings and strengthen inner resources. I offer sessions in English from Chelmsford, with online appointments available for children, adolescents, adults and families. With younger clients I weave play and simple mindfulness into sessions; with teens and adults we reflect on choices, practise grounding techniques and set small, doable steps between meetings. This approach suits those wanting a clearer sense of agency and steadier emotional footing.
