Christa

Dr Christa Vermillera, PhD

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors

I work with all ages including children as young as 3. I help clients deal with anxiety, depression, and other life transitions.

About Me

I offer a warm, understanding space for everyone, from young children aged three upwards. If you're navigating anxiety, depression, or big life changes, I'm here to help. We can gently explore your feelings and develop practical ways to manage challenges. My approach supports you in building resilience and finding a clearer path forward, making our work truly personal.

Approach

Sessions move at your pace, whether guiding a curious child through play to express big feelings or sitting with an adult learning short tools for anxious moments. In my Rockledge office we meet in English, creating predictable structure and gentle flexibility so families and individuals feel safe to try new coping steps between visits. I blend simple, practical activities—brief skills practice, parent coaching, and paced processing—to match attention differences, trauma responses, or mood shifts. This approach often fits parents, children, and adults seeking steady, hands‑on support.
