Mrs Charlene McIntosh

Counseling Psychologist

I am a counselling psychologist, registered with the HPCSA. I enjoy working with children, adolescents and adults.

About Me

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults, fostering a warm, supportive space. As a Counseling psychologist, I help individuals of all ages navigate life's complexities. We can explore feelings together and develop practical strategies for daily challenges. My approach is tailored to support your unique journey and help you find a way forward.

Approach

You’ll find a supportive setting where attention is given to what matters most and we work toward practical, manageable steps. Whether we meet in Durban or online, sessions are in English and paced to suit children, teens or adults — sometimes playful with young ones, sometimes more reflective with older clients. I combine gentle exploration, clear feedback and assessment-informed planning so you leave with tools to try between sessions. This approach tends to help families and individuals looking for grounded, everyday solutions and clearer direction.
