Hoi-Wing

Mr Hoi-Wing Chan

Registered Psychologist

Having performed counselling in various contexts, I had become skillful in developmental issues in young adults and adults.

About Me

I am a registered counselling psychologist (HKPS) and a registered counsellor (BACP). I use art therapy and psychodynamic therapy to help you manage life transitions, stress, burnout, and trauma.

Approach

Across diverse settings my experience with developmental challenges shapes how I guide sessions, gently pacing between immediate coping and exploring deeper patterns. Working in Hong Kong and online, in Cantonese, English or Mandarin, sessions often begin with a simple creative prompt or a grounded check-in to access feeling and memory. I alternate reflective exploration with hands-on creative tasks, help clients track stressors between meetings, and adjust pacing for adult individuals facing transitions, mood shifts or trauma. Those wanting steady, collaborative work tend to find this helpful.
