In the last 35 years I have worked in a range of settings including parent-infant work, addiction, Hospice, and private practice. I currently do individual and couple psychotherapy. I also facilitate small groups working with loss/bereavement. My approach is broadly psychodynamic, incorporating mindfulness.

About Me

I am a Clinical Psychologist in Observatory, Western Cape, South Africa. I help you manage anxiety, grief, relationship problems, and trauma. I offer psychodynamic therapy, relationship counseling, and support groups to build practical coping skills.

Approach

After decades across varied settings, my focus in sessions is on how you feel in the room — curious, steady, and present as we slow things down to notice patterns. I work from Observatory and online, in English, creating a calm pace where we use focused listening, gentle tracking of memories and practical mind‑body grounding between meetings. We often pause to explore relational patterns, bring awareness to anxious or grieving moments, and try small experiments to shift reactions. This slow, collaborative way suits adults and couples seeking thoughtful, steady change.
