Clinical psychologist and psychotherapist based in Lisbon, working with adults experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm and relationship difficulties. I offer integrative psychotherapy in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish, in person or online.

About Me

I am a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist based in Lisbon, working in private practice with adults in person and online. Therapy offers a space to slow down and understand what you are experiencing, while developing the capacity to stay with emotions without being taken over by them. This can help you recognise recurring patterns, make sense of your reactions, and build more stability and clarity in how you relate to yourself and others. Over time, this work can support a different relationship with emotional experience, allowing for greater flexibility, regulation and choice in how you respond. Outside of my clinical work, I engage in practices such as movement, time in nature, and meditation.

Approach

My work is grounded in an integrative approach that combines psychodynamic understanding, somatic awareness and emotion regulation. I focus on helping you understand recurring emotional and relational patterns, while developing the capacity to regulate intense emotional states and feel more grounded in your experience. When helpful, I draw on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), particularly in navigating difficult moments and building more effective ways of responding to emotions and relationships. The therapeutic process unfolds at a pace that allows for both exploration and integration, supporting greater stability, clarity and flexibility over time.
