Dr Benita Battiss

Chartered Psychologist

I am a chartered psychologist offering in-person and online evidence-based therapy and assessments to adults. Services offered: a) Counselling; b) Assessments (ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Cognitive, and Personality); c) Consulting

About Me

I offer a clear, evidence-based path to understanding yourself. For adults, I provide support through Counseling or specific assessments for ADHD, autism, or dyslexia. My focus is on gaining clarity. We will explore your unique experiences and develop practical strategies together. This allows you to move forward with confidence and a clearer sense of direction.

Approach

To build on that clarity, I focus each session on small, practical steps that feel manageable and relevant to your day-to-day life. In my Galway clinic or online, in English or Afrikaans, sessions are paced to your needs—structured, yet flexible—and often blend focused assessment tasks with brief reflective exercises. Between meetings I may suggest short, measurable activities or mindfulness practices to test what helps and what doesn’t. This way of working suits adults seeking clear, usable approaches to anxiety, attention differences, mood or memory concerns.
