Ayda Makhoul, MA

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

verified by TherapyRoute

I am a licensed clinical psychologist, supporting adults struggling with mood difficulties, relationship patterns, and adjustment challenges, especially expats navigating transitions. I use techniques from (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, where, together, we work on identifying and changing unhelpful patterns that keep you stuck, and instead help you build healthier ones, gaining practical everyday tools that help you reach your value-driven goals.

About Me

A licensed Clinical psychologist and artist who values a space that is clear, respectful, and collaborative. I’m especially interested in how people make sense of their inner world, and I aim to help clients better understand themselves while building ways of coping that feel sustainable and aligned with who they are. Note: I am a Lebanon-based practitioner offering specialized remote sessions for individuals from anywhere around the world. All services listed are (online) locations and are provided online only.

Approach

My approach is primarily evidence-based, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and change unhelpful thought and behavior patterns. I integrate this with a deeper, exploratory understanding of emotional experiences, helping clients make sense of underlying patterns while developing practical strategies for change.
