Miss Aphiwe Mabala

Registered Counselor

I am a compassionate, competent and understanding Registered Counsellor that has experience with working with children and adults from all walks of life.

About Me

As a Registered Counsellor, I offer compassionate and understanding support to children and adults from all walks of life. I create a space where you can feel truly heard and understood. Here, you are free to explore your unique experiences without judgment. We can work together to find clarity and new ways forward. My approach suits those seeking an empathetic, adaptable professional to guide them through life's challenges.

Approach

Compassion guides how I work: sessions move at your pace with attentive listening, gentle prompts and practical tools you can test between meetings. In my Gqeberha practice and online, in English or isiXhosa, I blend calm mindfulness, short psychoeducation and skills practice so you leave with something usable and a clearer way to try it out. We pay attention to emotions, body responses and patterns—slowly building techniques for anger, grief, transitions or body image. This way suits people wanting steady, practical support.
