Ms Anne-Louise Foley

Registered Counselor

Counsellor based in north Dublin with over 10 years’ experience working with individuals (18+) and couples on many different issues and challenges, including stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, anxiety, trauma, and loss.

About Me

I understand how stress, anxiety, or relationship difficulties can feel overwhelming. With over a decade of experience, I help individuals and couples explore these complex feelings. We can work together to make sense of your experiences and find a way forward. If you're navigating low self-esteem, trauma, or loss, I offer a grounded space. Here, you can share openly and build resilience towards greater well-being.

Approach

Instead of quick solutions, therapy unfolds as a paced, collaborative exploration where we track patterns in thoughts, body sensations and relationships to uncover what keeps you stuck. Sessions, offered in north Dublin or online in English, blend gentle processing with somatic practices and EMDR-informed pacing, and I often suggest small, practical experiments between meetings to test new ways of relating. You’ll set the tempo and we’ll review progress each week. This approach suits adults and couples seeking steady, practical change.
