Anna

Ms Anna Rydzy

Psychotherapist (Registered)

I am a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I hold a Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy (DCP) and bring over 20 years of clinical experience. My practice is grounded in Gestalt therapy, emphasizing self-awareness, presence, and meaningful contact in the here and now. Clients can expect an attentive, responsive style with direct feedback, and I integrate approaches such as Psychodrama, Drawing, Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method in my work with couples.

About Me

I guide individuals and couples as they explore their unique challenges and build stronger connections. My approach helps you understand patterns and discover new ways forward. I also offer regular, experiential psychotherapy workshops at the University of Toronto. These provide a collaborative space for deeper personal insight. Clients seeking an active, engaging path to growth often find my approach a good fit.

Approach

Sessions feel practical and exploratory, where we name recurring patterns and try focused, manageable experiments to shift how you respond to anxiety, loss and relationship strains. I work with people in Toronto and online, offering therapy in English and Polish, and I keep session pace steady, brief teaching, in-session practice, and reflective steps you can try between meetings. We often bring movement into conversations through role work and grounding exercises, then review what changed. This way suits people who want collaborative, active learning.
