About Me

I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist based in Bloomsbury, London, England. I offer psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapy and have experience of working within the NHS and a number of different mental and emotional health settings and have many years experience providing Individual Psychotherapy in private practice. My qualifications are: M. Clin. Sci in Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy PG Dip Bsc. I trained at the University of Kent in Canterbury, Kent. I take seriously the need to keep up to date in my profession and regularly complete continued professional development training.

Approach

My therapeutic approach is Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic. If this approach or these terms are not familiar to you, please get in touch for a brief discussion and this can be explained, however, the therapeutic approach is less important in relation to outcomes, than the therapeutic relationship that develops with a therapist that is right for you. It is therefore important to choose a therapist that is the most comfortable fit for you. We will work together to understand and work through issues that are personal to you and which are making life difficult, in a safe confidential and supportive environment
